My name is Szilvia, and I have lived in Gran Canaria for several years.

My fiancé and I have invested in property on the island ourselves. Through purchasing, managing and improving our own properties, I have gained first-hand understanding of the opportunities, questions and uncertainties involved in buying real estate away from your home country.

I have also accompanied friends during their property searches in Gran Canaria. That experience showed me how inconsistent the viewing process can be. Buyers may travel a long distance only to meet someone who is unprepared, cannot answer basic questions or has not taken the time to understand what the client is looking for.

I created Canary Islands Investments to offer a more prepared, personal and transparent experience.

I speak Hungarian and English, understand the concerns of international buyers and pay close attention to presentation, communication and detail.

My role is not to replace your lawyer, architect, surveyor, tax adviser or mortgage specialist. My role is to be your trusted local point of contact, help you see properties more clearly and connect you with appropriate independent professionals when needed.
